Privacy policy

Last updated: [date]. Effective: [date].

1. Who we are

Tizzy (tizzy.tv and app.tizzy.tv) is run by: - NB Audio Pty Ltd (ABN 34 641 691 223), PO Box 269, Greenock SA 5360, Australia, trading as Tizzy, for users in Australia, and for everyone else until our US company is formed; and - [Tizzy US Inc.], [address], USA, once formed, for users outside Australia.

"We", "us" and "Tizzy" mean whichever of these provides Tizzy to you (see Terms §2). Questions or requests: [privacy@tizzy.tv].

2. What this policy covers

The tizzy.tv website and waitlist, the Tizzy app, our emails, and any stream or replay we host. It doesn't cover Twitch, YouTube, Kick or other sites where a creator streams a Tizzy house: their own privacy policies apply there.

3. What we collect

What From Why
Email address and sign-in details (or your Google or Apple sign-in) You, through our sign-in provider To run your account and contact you about it
Date of birth You, at sign-up To check you're 16 or older, and 18 or older before you pay or earn. If you're under 16 we don't create an account and don't keep your date of birth; we keep only a count of refused sign-ups
Country You, and your card's country at checkout To work out which Tizzy company you deal with, prices, tax and what's available to you
Payment details You, entered directly with Stripe To take payment. Stripe holds your card details; we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought, when, and the amount
Creator details (if you join Stream My House): legal name, payout account, tax details and identity checks You, entered directly with our payout and tax-form providers: Stripe Connect in Australia; Wise and [our tax-form provider] elsewhere To pay you and meet tax law. Those providers hold your identity documents, bank details and tax forms (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN); we keep only a reference to your account with them and its status
Your voice, if you use push-to-talk while hosting a stream You To turn what you say into text for the stream. The recording is turned into text and deleted straight away; we keep only the text. We never use it to recognise who is speaking
Your houses, characters, scenarios, pitches and settings You To run your shows
Viewer events you type, bids, votes and Fan passes You To run viewer events and the auction, and to show your chosen display name in end credits if you have a Fan pass
What the AI characters say and do in your houses Generated by our AI providers To show, replay and clip your shows
Reports, complaints and messages you send us You To deal with them
Moderation records (what was flagged or refused, by whom, and why) Our systems and staff To keep Tizzy safe and meet online safety law and our AI providers' rules
Usage and device data: pages and houses viewed, times, IP address, browser and device type, error logs Your browser and our servers To run, secure and improve Tizzy, stop abuse and fraud

We don't ask for photos, ID documents, contacts or precise location, and Tizzy's art kit can't use real faces. We never collect card numbers or passwords ourselves. If you stream with your microphone or webcam on another platform, that platform collects it, not us. [If a built-in "go live" with host audio or webcam is added later, this table needs a row for it.]

4. How we use AI, and what that means for your data

Tizzy's characters are written live by AI models, currently Anthropic's Claude. To run a show we send Anthropic the text of your house, scenario, characters, settings and any viewer events in it. We don't send your email, date of birth or payment details.

If we add another AI provider (for example for voices on clips, such as ElevenLabs, which receives only the characters' lines), we'll name it in §6 before we use it.

5. Public content

Don't put your real name or anyone else's personal information in a house, character or event. Our content rules ban real people (Terms, Schedule 1).

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

7. Sending information overseas

Most of the services above are in the United States. If you're in Australia, your information will be sent to and held in the US and other countries where these providers operate. We choose providers with strong security and contracts that protect your information. If you're in New Zealand, these countries may not protect information in the same way as NZ law.

8. Young people

9. How long we keep it

What How long
Account details and your houses While your account is open, then deleted within [30] days of closing it, except as below
Payment and tax records 7 years after the transaction (Australian and US tax law)
Creator payout and tax records 7 years after the last payout
Moderation records and reports [2] years, or longer if needed for a legal claim or a regulator
Push-to-talk voice recordings Not kept: deleted as soon as they're turned into text

Public streams and replays Until you delete them or close your account; copies others clipped or saved may remain on other platforms

10. Cookies

At launch we use only the cookies Tizzy needs to work (signing you in, security, remembering your settings). We don't use advertising cookies. [If analytics are added, list them here with an opt-out, and add a cookie notice.]

11. Keeping it safe

We'll only describe security measures here that we actually have in place.

12. Your choices and rights

13. Complaints

Email [privacy@tizzy.tv] first; we'll reply within [30] days. If you're not happy with our answer: - Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au - New Zealand: the Privacy Commissioner, privacy.org.nz - Canada: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, priv.gc.ca - US: your state Attorney General

14. Information about other people

Sometimes we get information about someone from another person: for example, a viewer names a real person in an event, or someone reports a house that mentions them. Our rules don't allow real people in houses or events, so we refuse or remove that content. We keep only what we need to deal with it (the item, our decision and why) in our restricted moderation records, for the time in §9, and we never show a reporter's identity to the person reported. If the law requires it, or if the information could affect the person, we'll take reasonable steps to tell them.

If you think Tizzy holds information about you, email [privacy@tizzy.tv], even if you don't have an account.

15. Decisions made by computers

Some decisions about you are made automatically, by our software and AI models, before a person looks at them: - Age: refusing sign-up under 16, and turning off buying and earning under 18, from the date of birth you give. - Moderation: blocking a line, refusing a house setup, pitch or viewer event, or pausing a house when our filters flag it. - The Random slot: skipping and benching a house from the featured rotation when a line is flagged (Creator agreement, Schedule A). - Fraud and payouts: flagging bids, votes, viewer-minutes or earnings that look automated or fake, and holding them for review.

These use what you type, what the AI characters say in your houses, your date of birth, and how your account is used. A person reviews decisions that close an account, remove a public house or hold earnings. You can ask a person to look again at any automated decision at [appeals@tizzy.tv].

16. Changes

We'll post any change here with a new date. If a change matters (for example a new kind of data or a new AI provider), we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
